Nice beige head, overall black appearance, delicate aromas of peated malt and burnt malts (could be more intensive). Well balanced and quiet sessionable in taste, the alcohol is well hidden. Its a good stout with moderate peated malts, its nice to drink but is not very sophisticated. "Barrel aged edition" - its a joke because only wooden chips were addded, which are completely untracable in taste in this beer.

Tap at Salon piva, Pale golden color with small white head. Wheat, smoke, oranges in aroma. Watery taste with with oranges, light smoke. Not very tasty.

BKL2016. Black indeed, low brown head. Strong black coffe and dark chocolate notes with lactic edges , light rural aromatics, medium body, slick, light salt licorice in the finish.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Piney hoppy and roasty dark malty aroma, hints of pine, resin, dark chocolate, some coffee. Taste roasty dark malty, chocolately, some coffee, piney and slightly resinous hoppy overtones; smooth and super soft palate.

Tap at Salon piva. Brutally pale colour, almost water. Body is corresponding to that. Aromatically and flavour wise the only thing coming through is moderate smoke (beech). Basically a smoked water. Interesting but I do not get the point.
