Keg at Leskinen, Oulu. Slightly opaque copper gold. Thin foamy white head. Aroma is fruity with a big dose of doughy malts. Flavourwise there's an initial fruity hint before a woody resinous streak sweeps through. Tart gooseberry edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Bitter stuff. More West Coast African than South African.

Bottle bought at K-Supermarket Pekuri, Oulu. Hazy-opaque light gold. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Aroma has funky yeast and light spice over doughy malts. Flavourwise it has a dry sourness over grains and malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick if chalky. Long dry astringent finnish. Unexciting Saison.

Draft at Mallaskelleri, Oulu. Clear amber. No head. Aroma has herbs and citrus and earth. Flavourwise it's saline and slightly sour. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent. Pretty boring but possibly therefore true to traditional style.

Keg at Leskinen, Oulu. Opaque, slightly hazy, gold. Foamy white head. Aroma is fruity with a sherbert bomb of citrus. Flavourwise there's initial sharp citrus with a slightly more juicy underbelly. Develops some resinous bitterness. Spice. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable enough SIPA.
