About
In 1852 Ludwig Bauhöfer founded the brewery. He knew that the people in the region particularly appreciate quality and regional specialities when it comes to eating and drinking, and his beer soon became so popular that the small family business developed into one a modern brewery after only a few years.
Today we can look back on a long brewing tradition that has grown over generations. The popularity of Ulmer beers has not changed to this day and the specialties of the family brewery make new friends every day.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a small, white head. Some floral hops in the nose. Medium-bodied, sweet maltiness, somewhat herbal with a discreet bitterness. Not your typical Helles. 141224

# 3832; 9/2023. Malty, biscuit, citrus, flowery, light butery and tropical fruits aroma. Clear straw body; white head. Malty, biscuity, tropical fruits, citrus, tangerine. Wow, such untypical german lager... Modern american hops are so dominant. Something between a (english) blonde ale and IPL, definitely not a typical german pale lager. Excellent beer. 0,33 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, Reutlingen (Swabia, Germany).

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Grainy, pale malty and slightly yeasty fruity aroma, a touch of quince. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly grainy, pale malty and slightly yeasty fruity, mildly bitter, grassy hoppy, a touch of quince, some protein. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, creamy carbonation. Nice mouthfeel, a bit simple - OK.

Bottled 330ml. -from Fristo Getränkemarkt Freiburg. Yellow/pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, grainy nose. Grainy, grassy, light cereals and bready with short bitterish finish.
