On tap at Doble Malta, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of intense maple syrup, some coffee, and sugars. Flavour is dominated by the maple syrup upfront, and yet somehow isn’t too cloying; there’s some coffee, dark sugars, even a touch of roast. Really nice maple character without the excess sugars. Very good.

On tap at Doble Malta. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Loads of maple sugars on the nose. Flavour is surprisingly dry with plenty of maple and bread crusts. Comes together nicely, not nearly as cloying as the nose suggests.
