Draft at Malt, Ho Chi Minh City. Poured a strangely orange amber colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty, herbal, light hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, herbal, light aromatic, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Ok, but doesn’t inspire me.

330ml bottle at Ongbalo, Da Nang. Poured a mostly clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, herbal, toffee, boiled sweet citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Draft at Vua Bia, HCMC. Poured a mostly clear medium amber colour with a big, lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy malt, light floral hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, light herbal, light citrus, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
