Growler - poured by Mr. Lowry himself, thanks Phil. Clear amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Soft aroma of peachy hops and licorice allsorts. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, lightly sweet burned caramel and a distinct hoppy finish. 110709

On tap. Pours a cloudy and opaque yellow with a small, off-white head. Aroma primarily of yeast. Medium body, heavy carbonation, light banana accents and a whiff of tart citrus and yeast. The finish is dry. A rather boring Hefe. 120709

Growler. Pours black and almost opaque with a vague orange hue. sweetish aroma of hard roasted malts and alcohol with an edge of peaty smoke. Quite full-bodied, hard roasted malts, a little tar and dried fruit. Some malt bitterness and an extreme alcohol burn. 110709

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Big summer fruit aroma. Summer fruit and light pine flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Summer fruit, light grapefruit, and pine linger.

Draft. Hazy light amber beer with a white head. Wheat and light citrus aroma with light spice. Citrus, wheat, and spice flavor. Medium-light body. Easy drinking. Wheat, citrus, and light yeast linger.

Draft at the Bistro’s IPA Fest. Nose of light floral hops with a hint of vanilla and citrus. Clear gold with a medium white head. Flavor was lightly bitter with some contrasting caramel.
