Canned 6/2/25, drunk 7/6/25.
Moderately-to-heavily hazy, muted bronze-maize-golden. Big, yellow-tinged, fluffy, white head. Strong retention.
Sweet, juicy, fruity nose full of pear, peach, papaya, mango and a hint of sweet lime. Just a speck of spice. Low acidity. Deep malts. Worried that this is going to be too sweet/rich/thick/full.
While there's certainly a lot of peachy-pear-guava-papaya-mango, it's on the drier side for tropical fruit and there's a hint of spice and a touch of pine/grapefruit-like bitterness. Soft, silky body with pretty good attenuation. Lingering dry spice, unripe stone fruit rind...green pear...Interesting, different and compelling. But I wish it were just a bit more bitter.

US Pint can from Taisoon, Bangkok and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy, mango. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a smooth, rich, fresh, dank, grassy, light citrus, dry woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Undated can drunk 6/26/25.
Clear brass-honey-lemon-golden. Large, off-white head, well-retained.
WC hops, of course, leading with a lightly woody, lightly juicy and quite drily citric Amarillo character. Light spice, light stone fruit and unripe tropical fruit. No resin, no scallion. No toast or caramel from the malt. Just supportive white bread-like character, and no alcohol noted.
Juicy with a healthy malt backing. Soft and supple with not-overdone bitterness. Lots of white bread-like maltiness, rich and deep but well-attenuated. No resin, no toast, no caramel, no iced tea, no big pine. Just fruity, juicy, lightly woody, lightly tropical and moderately citrusy hops done right. Man, if only they made WCIPAs like this back in the day!

Bottle at CBJ, thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Airy smooth palate, a mild dryness, decent fine carbonation. Good dark chocolate malts, slightly tangy and chocolate brownie. Soft vanilla. Ripe bourbon soaked fruits. A little alcohol spice in the finish. Rich and drinkable.
