From a Crowler bought at Skull Tree Brewing.
Pours pitch black with an inch of tan foam.
Very strong coffee aromas, like grounds, roasted malt, I reckon that this is going to be pretty bitter.
Coffee grounds taste throughout, roasted malt, a bit earthy, quite bitter.
Light side of medium bodied, adequate carbonation.
Very nice coffee Stout.

On draught and now, from a Crowler, purchased at Skull Tree Brewing.
Pours a clear gold with a head of foam that lasts forever! Lacing is great.
Citrus and pine hop notes in the smell. Some bread. Smells so approachable given the highish abv for the style.
Grapefruit and pine up front, bready malt backing it up, the proprietary yeast Ty uses is there; good thing that I'm a fan of it.
Bitterness level is comfortable, no perceived dankness, which is fine by me. Finishes rather balanced.
Smooth mouthfeel.
Excellent!

First a pint at Skull Tree, then I took home a Crowler.
Pours a near pitch black, smallish head of tan foam, lacing is above average.
Smells of vanilla, cocoa, roasted malt, a touch of coffee.
Vanilla and cocoa dominate the taste. Roasted malt isn't far behind, subtle notes of coffee.
Silky smooth mouthfeel.
A treat that I can get into!

From a Crowler bought at Skull Tree Brewing.
It pours a 24k gold, clear, aboot an inch of foam after pouring. Lovely lacing.
Smells of the brewery's proprietary yeast, light hops, slightly fruity, malt, I would say, is toasted vs bread or biscuit
Taste is quite hoppy but not bitter. Proprietary yeast is evident, good thing I like it, toasted malt, a bit earthy, smooth, perhaps some mild grass but I am not sure on that.
Medium bodied and carbonation. What this is, easy drinking, flavourful, a cut above the average Golden/Blonde which can be on the boring side. Cheers Skull Tree.

On draught at Skull Tree Brewing. It was tapped 2 days ago, May 28th.
It pours a clear straw gold with a healthy finger of foam, plenty of sticky lacing. Grand looking.
Smell is piney, citrusy with grapefruit, toasted malt, very floral, very inviting.
Taste goes beyond the smell. Assertive pine, grapefruit, floral, some toasted malt, light dankness, very summer like for an IPA, if that makes any sense. I had 2 pints before getting this Crowler.
Slick somewhat resinous mouthfeel which I dig.
Such a good, no, great IPA!

Pours a clear dark brown/mahogany, lively head of off white foam, good lacing.
Smells malty and hoppy, some fruity notes,
Taste is a balanced malt and hops thing with the hop bitterness coming through near the finish. Little bit of a spiciness to it and dark pitted fruit.
Smooth mouthfeel.
Tasty example of the style.

From a Crowler bought at Skull Tree Brewing. Canned February 27th 2019.
Pours a clear reddish gold with a large but slowly receding head of foam.
I get aromas of grapefruit citrus and caramel malt, yeast, hints of pine, lower level of bitterness.
Taste is bitter and sweet, citrus and caramel coming into play. Yeasty, pine notes, lower level of bitterness.
Medium bodied, excellent carbonation for being in the Crowler for a week.
A pleasure to drink for such a good cause.

Crowler bought at Skull Tree Brewing.
It pours a clear deep amber with a healthy head of foam, sticky lacing abounds.
Smells of caramel malt, cinnamon, nutmeg, lovely mix of spices indeed.
Cinnamon and nutmeg are dominant, caramel malt follows through, sweet without being too sweet. Kinda reminds me of Pete's Wicked Winter Ale of decades ago and that's a good thing.
Mouthfeel is nothing to have any disdain to.
Wonderful brew!
