Appearance: Cloudy reddish amber with a large off-white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: Raw water, berries, sour milk. Taste: Cranberries, vinous, sour milk. Light to medium sour. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Overall: Controversial.

33 cl bottle #0395. Bronze-amber color, almost clear, weak foam. Aroma: sweet, esters, caramel, dried fruits, raisins, candied fruits, port wine, brandy. Sweet taste, candied fruits, vanilla, a little wild, marmalade, bourbon and armagnac a bit, strange, not bad.

Tap. Dark brown, almost black, coffee foam. Aroma: sweet, esters, toffee, caramel, chocolate, interesting. Sweet taste, caramel, toffee, prunes, apricot and coconut seem to be, slightly burnt, a drop of bourbon, good.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Caramelly nose with some red wine. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and red wine, warming alcohol dominates the finish.

Tap. Slightly hazy, yellow-golden, good white foam. Aroma: good, citruses, slightly fruity, lychee, guava, flowers and a little pine needles, white grapes. Taste: gooseberry, herbs, lychee, pine needles, kiwi, citruses, mild bitterness.

Very dark brown colour with thin head. Elements of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Smooth. Fairly full for a low alcohol stout. Nice balance of sweet and bitter.
