Thnx to Vasily ! Clean, minimalistic designed bottle. Red wax on top, the worst kind. Very thin, but very fragile as it breaks into hundreds of pieces upon opening the beer. Wax like this is impossible to remove without having some falling into your beer ( accept for when you'd fully clean it off of the top, and THAN open the bottle, but who wants to spent that kind of time to open a beer?) not to mention the crap allover the table.. Sigh.. please stop waxing, or at least use good wax? Pours oily and pitch black, Very dark, mocha head of a very, very small size and rather low stability. Smell is roasted grains, dark malts (coffee, chocolate) and very intensely mixed in is the chivas. Not too much oak. Taste is like a proper english imperial porter, rather dry and crisp black malts, even though it's simultaneously very dense, creamy, and sweet. Low carbonation. Bit metallic, although that also might be the heat of the alcohol playing. Not overly boozy in taste. Not as highly aromatic dark maltyness as i'd expect, than again, its not an imperial stout, but an imperial baltic porter. Details, I guess. Whiskey taste is blended in nicely. Overall, for what the beer is ment to be, I think they did an amazing job. Ratebeer is all about rating to own preference though, and my preference simply ( for this kinda ABV and beerstyle family ) goes toward a thick, creamy, robust, imperial stout that has much more aroma and a longer aftertaste ( this one fades within seconds ) . i can clearly see how people would like this though. Brewtechnically, this beer is very well made and pleasant to drink. What should be a sipper, is drinkin' dangerously fast !!!

15.01.2018 - 0.5l bottle from punk craft in moscow. pours a murky amber with some sediment and a small head. aroma of fruity hops, caramel, boiled vegetables. flavour of biscuit, spruce, citrus zest, vegetables again. oily mouthfeel. yes, this is an iipa, however, it's got too much vegetables, is somewhat mushy and dusty, not very convincing. 28.03.2020 - 0.5l can from moscow, 195 rub. much cleaner and fruitier now, some grapes and citrus.
