On tap at Vrteška. Raspberry and caramel fight in the aroma, nicely enough, with a sticky maltiness kinda winning in the end. The taste carries on the two flavors, and while they are better than in the aroma, the body is just too light and dry, too limp to excite. Shame, almost very good, like this - underwhelming.

Deep bronze pour, minimal head. Low retention. The aroma is caramel, toast, nuts, red wine, a hint of spicy hops. Medium to full body. Flat to soft carbonation. Rich malty taste. Big caramel. Medium sweet. Vinous. Nutty. Dried fruit. Peppery finish. Solid.

Draught. Clear golden. Small white head. Low retention. Malty aroma. Lollipop, fruity yeast. Medium body. Average carbonation. Oily texture. Sweet malts start the taste. Minor yeast in the middle. Notable grassy bitterness on ending. Too fruity for a Czech Pilsner. It might come from unclean beer store pipes.

Bottle. Cloudy amber colour. Yeast flakes swimming arond. Aroma: Sweet biscuit malts, honey, citrusy & resiny hops. Medium body. Big biscuity sweetness starts the taste. Somewhat sticky. After that resiny hops get in. Medium biterness. Overall a basic Russian IPA that lacks elegance.

Cloudy amber, moderate off-white head. The aroma is very fruity. Ripe peach, tropical fruit, background malts. Medium body. The taste is fairly fruity as well. Hoppy. The bitterness is solid yet smooth. Good.

Bottle. foggy amber colour, modest off-white head. Retention above average. Aroma: Sticky biscuity malts, lemon, resin, earth. Light to medium body. Hoppy resiny taste. Solid malty base. A touch of lemon. Medium bitterness. Not that easy to drink so hardly deserves to be called a session ale.

Bottle. Murky amber colour, Modest off-white head. Average retention. Aroma: honey melon, citrus fruit. Medium to full body. Well rounded mouthfeel. Big malts strt the flavour. After that powerful resiny bitterness ununfolds. Yet it is rather easy to drink. Good one. Very well balanced.

Bottle. Aroma: multifruit juice, citrus hops. Light to medium body. Hoppy taste. Grapefruit. Lemon. Subdued pale malts. Fresh medium bitterness. Not sure if it fits the Vermont substyle. As an IPA it is good.
