At a tasting, thanks, small stable bubbly head, cloudy murky brown color, with lots of reddish taints, aroma of biscuit, caramel and butterscotch sweets, caramel and biscuit flavor with a hint of yeast, quite sweet with a light to medium bitterness, long lasting aftertaste. Fair but no more.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Hazy dark amber to brown. Aroma of caramel, butter, vegetables, some chocolate. Sweet flavor, caramelly, buttery, with a bit of chocolate, and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey & Raphaela’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Hazy deep golden. Pretty bad buttery diacetyl aroma with a bit of hops. Flavor has sweetish buttery diacetyl, and somewhat harsh hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied, diacetyl mouthfeel.

At a tasting, thanks, stable light brown bubbly head, opaque very dark brown color, nutty weedy grassy aroma, some chocolate and a mineral note, carob and prunes flavor with lots of chocolate and some dark bread, light bodied but not too much. Nice.

At a tasting, many thanks, big bubbly head, opaque black color, aroma cocoa, dark bread and a smokey hint, flavor of ashes and dirt with some coffee and rye in the back. Good and really satisfying.
