Bottle. Color: Hazy pink-ish red, fast disappearring light pink head. Aroma: Farmyard funk, tart cherries. Taste: Medium to over medium tart fruity dark cherries, combined with farmyard and slightly leathery wild yeast funk. Vinegar notes. Medium body, average carbonation. Pretty high carbonation for a Kriek. Oak, tannins. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Sour, fruity vinegar finish. Ok, but not as balanced as most classic Belgian Krieks, a bit too sour in my opinion and too much carbonation, which is taking away some of the taste.

Bottle, 75cl. It's a hazy golden to amber colored beer with a small off-white head. Rather fruity aroma, mostly cherry and peach, but there's also a generic fruityness and some berries. Funk and a touch of oak too. It's full-bodied and smooth, quite tart, with a soft carbonation. Lots of fruit in the flavor too, hints of berries, and lemony, woody funk and some leather notes. Long fruity finish. A pleasant fruity beer, complex and tasteful. 190913

Pecan, vanilla sugar, light cinnamon, malt, and straw aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Very sweet vanilla, pecan, malt, and mildly bitter fresh grass flavor. Good body. All it's missing is the baby.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a small brown head. A big boozy roast vanilla nose. Rich, sweet but thankfully not overly so, roast, vanilla, bog boozy bourbon. Light heat. Listed as 15.1%. The base roast is big enough for the boozy sweet bourbon base. Lovely.
