Bouteille @ Annual Tilquin Enthusiasts Admin tasting, merci Vincent. Anno 2016.

Bottle from I forgot who. Pours opaque black, medium creamy brown head, dissipates fairly quickly, good lacing. Aroma is roast and cocoa. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, roasty, light bourbon notes are an accent, not a spotlight. Cocoa and molasses round things out. Full body. A bit harsh when push comes to shove.

Tap at Peddler's Village Tastingroom in Lahaska, PA. 16.7% ABV. Dense, opaque black color. Brief tan head. Oakey, dark chocolate notes in nose. Wow, this is huge. Intense meld of bittersweet chocolate, burnt caramel and dark dried fruit. Big bourbon notes and plenty of warming alcohol. Soft, creamy mouthfeel. A monsterous RIS.

16 ounce can. Hazy copper color. Fluffy beige head. Cinnamon and ginger in the toasted malt nose. Sugary spiced malty flavor upfront. Notes of brown sugar, caramel, cinnamon and dried fruit. Warming alcohol in finish. Overly sweet, though interesting.

Draft at Hunger-N-Thirst in Lancaster. Black and dark brown head. Ooh wee, big and bourbon-y. I didn't know I was getting a BA Impy Stout. And this is definitely a BA BOURBON IMPERIAL stout. It's decadent in its richness. However, it's not tooth achingly sweet, the malts are not overdone or stale and old tasting. It's like a rich alcoholic dessert layered atop a decent stout. I love the bigness done well

Nice ginger spice. Little sweet, but dangerous at 12.5%. Similar to a hike through the mountains, beautiful, yet treacherous.

Draft at Bert's in Millersville. Very pale. Greenie hop beer, light resin hops, hop-tea-water. Sticky water mouthfeel. Tastes like pledge water. Not for me. 625211
