12 oz bottle. Pours caramel with a small tan head. Strong malty boozy scent. I sip...it has an essense of Patron XO. Boozy coffee. Im hoping it mellows out a bit as it warms up....it does not.

12oz bottle. Ruby brown color. Too thick to see thru. Aroma does have coffee and some moderate sweet malts with fruit accents. I feel like I smell oats as well. Coffee is light in flavor. A not very coffee, coffee beer. A ligt bitterness at end of flavor. Fizzy, mineral finish. I see a noncoffee coffee beer here.

500mL corked and capped bottle. I was surprised by the cork hiding underneath the cap. Cost $11 at the Friendly Greek in Lancaster, PA. Poured into Kasteel oversized wine glass. Pours with a big fizzy head that fades slightly slower than its poured. A slick, hazy, very hazy without being murky, golden color. This beer reminds me a lot of my homebrew, so I have a soft spot for it but see the flaws pretty easily. Its biggest problem is a cidery character. Its got an authentically produced lactic tartness/sourness. The peach is there and its nice but its actually being overpowered by the lactic sourness. Maybe a bit more peach sourness and less lactic would be a nicer balance. A little touch of unfermeneted malts as well, which feels sweet. Some lemon and white grape. Not brett funky but the lactic sourness could have come off brett. Its a nice stab and a great point to grow from. But at $11, this was the most affordable of the specialty Free Will beers I saw at the store. So, its unlikely I will be buying any others.

Rating #5700! Completely clear golden and very lightly honeyed golden coloured body with a faint off-white head that fades very fast. Aroma of unmistakable, super pungent lime, that shows some authenticity, but a lot fakeness and artificial scents seem more possible. The aroma also shows some grain, cleanser, a bit of light hops, alcohol and a kick of yeast - very interesting, but the lime (real or not?) is by far the strongest smell. Light-bodied; Astringent, super effervescent flavour with a ridiculously fake lime flavour, showing some mint (odd), grass, tartness, sour funk, grass, herbs, vegetables and a bit of better lime flavour near the end that again, shows a touch of rind. Aftertaste is funky with the yeast, grass, funk, hay and astringent aspects coming first, but then shows some strong limes - real or fake, they show through decently with the tartness actually stronger, somehow, then the lime sweetness. Overall, an interesting beer, but one’s that oddly familiar with the Lindeman’s (the first ones I ever really had) series of ’lambics’ that hit the fruit category that are relatively easy to please and still transcendent of a real beer. I sampled this 37,5 cL split bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-December-2015 for US$8,81 sampled at home in Washington as beer #5700 on 08-October-2016!

On tap at Rattle n Hum - East, pours an amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out very nicely toasted espresso beans, not much else. Flavour isn't as nice as the aroma, with notes of espresso, light roast, and some burnt oats. Nicely constructed but a little too burnt. Solid.
