F: average, off-white, not long lasting. C: dark brown, hazy, opaque. A: malty, chocolate, woody, apple, vinous, dark fruits, vanilla, hint of smoke, cherries, brandy. T: malty, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, vinous, vanilla, apple, dark cherries, caramel, oak, not very full body but still complex taste anyway, a little more syrup sweet but good balanced and taste, worth to try, 11,5% ABV, 0,35l bottle from Leuven Innovation Beer Festival May 2016.

Small, very lightly yellow-tinted head over bit undercarbonated, clear metallic-golden beer. Very grapey hops; aromatic, green leaves/herbs; young pine shoots, fruitskins (apple?). Piney, even resiny flavour, unripe exotic fruit, again fruitskins (apple/mango, even bananapeel), grapefruit. Very bitter, near astringent, hopoily. Long-lasting flavours; better carbonated than it looks. Quite nice IPA!

Draught at Revolution House, Philly, April 30, 2016.Clear golden color, white head with lacing. Malty, light herbal bitter taste. Herbal aftertaste, also bread and toasted. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Malty, some toasted scent.

Bottle @ LIBF’16. Shared with the RB Belgian team. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme au nez fruité mettant directement l’accent sur la mangue. Fin bouquet malté en rétro-nasal qui assure la balance. Palais est assez doux avec un agréable profil tropicale et of course de mangue. Petite douceur résiduelle de malt froment qui ajoute à cette sensation d’épaisseur. Sympa et thirst quenching.

Bottle @ LIBF’16. Shared with the RB Belgian team. Brune foncée, au col léger beige. Arôme au nez fermenté, fruité sec, pointe de liqueur denoix, fruit noir; figue et date avec un bouquet malt grillé-caramel qui accroche bien tout en offrant de fines effluves de Calva-Brandy. Palais est malté, grillé, caramel, fruits noirs, rappelant bcp un fini pomme caramelisée certainement de l’Apple Brandy. Epais avec un 13% qui réchauffe bien tout en restant très complexe.

Palais est léger brett offrant cet habituel côté abricot, et un côté prune rappelant un peu la Quetsche et au fini aigrelet qui reste modéré.

Arôme au nez fruité avec un bouquet venant surtout du brett, le tout reste assez basique sans vraimetn pouvoir noter trop de la canneberge. Palais est léger malté, sour mash, fruité moyen avec pas mal de brett et devenant un peu agressif au palais. Fruité en rétro, et aucune idée de ce que des cannberges blanches ont comme profil. Petite épaisseur du malt froment.

Bottle @ LIBF’16. Shared with the RB Belgian team. Oddly enough, the beer was labeled as sour, and the Russian lambic was not made available, maybe a bit taboo in Belgium? Dorée-paille, très Claire, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez fruité pêche fermenté avec une bonne impression de levure sauvage. Palais est finement aigrelet, pêche avec le côté résiduel de poils au au palais. Note citrique avec une petite pointe épicée-poivrée en fin de bouche.
