Draft at Holy Hound. Hazy brown color. Intense cocoa powder aroma. Taste is burnt licorice, burnt espresso, chocolate. Nice.

From a bottle with some sediment, this is a mouth coating ball of wax. Oily thick malty thing at first then it evolves into a more blunt ipa thing. Thick bitter oily with a decent hop aroma. Long medicinal, does not hide alky well finish.

Interesting idea, though don't get the oatmeal part.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a trace white head that faded instantly and left no lacing. The aroma was tart, dryish and a bit chalky. The flavor was very tart, dry, chalky and musty with a sour peach undertone. Long tart finish. Medium body but undercarbonated. Meh.

Bottle. Pours pink watermelon. Nose/taste of cherry pie, sour tart cherry, acidy funk and watermelon. Lighter medium body. Acidic but not overpowering. Low carbonation. For some reason I get as much watermelon sourness as cherry. Not sure if this should fall into sour/wild or lambic-fruit, but it is more in line with lambics I’ve had. Solid.

Ok, this is not a sour. Its more like a sweet something from the start. Fairly clear. Smell is almost alarmiongly sweet. Sweetness continuews over to the taste. could use some manners fer sure. For the name, was expecting a more sour or tart beer but I guess it was sour mash, that’s what needs to be said here. Mouth coating. Somewhat cloying at times.
