12 oz bottle purchased at Pinocchio’s Beer Garden in Media, Pennsylvania. The pour is hazed golden with a well formed one inch white head. The aroma is pungent, a bit of body odor, opens up to bitter grapefruit and citrus peel. A bit of earth and grass. The taste is the bitter grapefruit and grapefruit peel, along with a decent shot of pine. After the hop and bitter, turns to the grass and earth and dries out a ton in the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, and the bone dry earth mineral finish.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky caramel-brown color with a large creamy-soapy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet pine, floral hops and had an earthy undertone. The flavor was sweetish pine, fruity hops, black pepper and hints of caramel and bread. Medium length pine, fruity hop adn black pepper finish. Medium body and the alcohol was well hidden. Decent but fairly subdued for a DIPA.

On tap at the BNA 8 party at World Cafe Live Philadelphia Lightly cloudy. Wicked bready grainy grassy nose. Hints of pine and citrus. Light bittersweet chocolate and a mineral bite. I had this twice and its only ok.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark amber color with a medium sized creamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy mixed fruity hops. The flavor was tart and tangy fruity hops, lemon and a bit of tart candy. Medium length tangy fruity hops finish. Medium body. Decent.

Draft. Hazy yellow color, tiny white edge head. Aroma is pineapple, subtle grapefruit. Taste is sweet and sour pineapple. Nice showing of the citra hop without being over the top.

Draft July 2012...cloudy off white head...a little lacing, looks promising....sour combined with wheat...light and tangy with a zesty citrus aroma, would do well with a fresh strawberry

Brown with a beige head. Aroma is biscuit, malt, cocoa. Medium bodied. Flavor is boring. Similar to the aroma with plenty of that biscuit. Not really doing it for me. Need to smooth out that biscuit and add a touch of roast.

Draft. Cloudy golden amber color, small white edge head. Aroma of peppery butterscotch and mild funk. Taste starts as sweet butterscotch, then sour summer fruits with a subtle burnt edge. Needs a bit of work.
