Some licorice, dark chocolate. Roast. Creamy consistency. Bittersweet finish. A hint of marshmallow, some bourbon. Nice stuff. Black pour with good head and lacing. Shared at tasting.

500 ml bottle from Peddler’s Village tap room in Lahaska, PA. Opaque dark brown pour. Large frothy tan head settles to a creamy cap. Sweet roasted malt aroma. Notes of dark chocolate, dark fruits and banana. Flavor is big and boozy. Dark chocolate, dark cherries and vanilla. Underlying notes of oak and nuts.

50cl bottle pours a murky brown/black, legs, a ring of beige head. Malt holds up in the nose, booze is muddled and there is a clear peat character. Peat just ain't my thing. Caramel and malt and butterscotch and smoke. Full bodied, long and a little harsh.
