(Can 33 cl) Courtesy of sunevdj. Clear, pale golden with a white head. Odd, tart, fishy and sweet aroma. Medium body with unclean notes of brewing cereal. Also both fruit and metal. No bitterness. A typical flawed tropical lager. 110507

Can. A pale yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with a light straw note of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with light ntoes of cardboard and honey, leading to a dry cardboardy end. Thanks Sune, for sharing.

So what can you expect from a beer from Madagascar? I guess you suppose it to be very pale yellow? Well, correct here. Colour is pale yellow. But hold on, the head looks firm and nice. You probably expect the aroma to be faint, full of adjuncts and sweetish? Dipping my nose into the glass, and - hey!? What’s this? Big grapefruit aroma! Is this Cascade hops? The body is light, and it is rather sweet, but it finishes with a real sting of hop bitterness. A surprisingly flavourful and stylish African lager. (8/2/6/3/13)

Re-rate on two occasions, both from bottle and can in 2007 Still very pale yellow. The Cascade hop aroma is there no more. Instead there is - nothing, except perhaps some diluted wet water.
