Wow, that's a lot of fake strawberry. Ummm, like strawberry starbursts. I like the fake strawberry but it's super fake.

Sampler at brewery. Lightly hazed golden. Aroma is kind of a salty mineral with dough Belgian malt and moderate-light peer esters. Flavor is orange rind and dirty malt water banana and pear esters. Low bitter. Not sweet. It's messy but not overly estry or sweet.

Draft at brewery. Reddish brown hued black color. Aroma is ashtray, light roast and some metallic industrial character. Flavor is similarly weird metallic mineral character. Low sweetness, low bitterness, and low acidity. Missing a lot of bad things but also one weird thing.

Sampler at brewery. Clear dim golden color. Really sweet and clear hop aroma, sweet tangerine. Flavor has a bit of mineral and light bitterness to offset the juicy tangerine. Still fun and low bitter. I bet the cans aren't as good as this tap.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a sly transparent amber color with some carbonation seen rising to fill a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Soft film of white foamy head congregates around the glass. The lace is the same.
The aroma has a soft malty sweet blend of biscuits, white bread, caramel, toffee and grassy hops. Some fruitcake comes in as it warms.
The flavor was sticky malty sweet with the biscuits seemingly tasting like they’re honey coated. Some nuttiness comes out. Hops seem barely there. Crisp nutty caramel/toffee/toasty/fruitcake aftertaste. Sticky malty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, good as a red ale worthy of having again for the style.

Can. Love the name of this one. One of my favorite non-words. It pours a clear orange gold color with an off white head. A little caramel and honey on the nose with some bread, peach and berries. Moderate bitterness. The finish is a little dirty and on the sweet side. Not that great.
