12oz pour at the brewery pours a totally clear gold with some thin white head. Nose is odd but intriguing, mild soap, mild perfume, distinctly herby, mild grape, a little candy. Flavor is also interesting, grape candy, some ice wine, concentrated apple, mild herb, juniper is there, a little sawdust. Clean finish. Not sure the base totally held up to the barrel.

12oz pour at the brewery pours a very hazy orange with some lacing white head. Nose is has a lot of orange and tangerine, papaya, jackfruit, some mild cracker. Flavor is very interesting, first hit is crackery malt, then lots of juicy citrus, tangerine, Meyer lemon, some jackfruit, a little grass. Clean finish. Really nice.

Draft at Right Proper poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with about a finger of off-white head, decent lacing. Aromas of gin, citrus, funk, light white wine. Tasting notes of gin, light funk, apples, light vanilla and oak, white wine. Thin mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Medium body with a dry finish. Pretty nice, interesting barrel character on top of the base beer.

Pint draft at the source. Poured a nice golden straw color with a fluffy white head. Aroma was nice wheat notes with some earthy hops and spice notes. Flavor was nice malt, wheat, and spiced hop notes. Pretty enjoyable. Some light funk to it. Nice low ABV makes this easy to drink.

Pint draft at the source. Poured a clear dark ruby notes to it, light tan head color. Aromas and flavor were roasted malts, chocolate character. I’m quite impressed with the low ABV on this one. Seriously sessionable, easy to drink.

Pint draft at the source. Poured a pretty dark brown with a tinge of ruby notes to it, light tan head color. Flavor was roasted malts, some very light smokey notes, but not a lot in the way of rye, though ti was pretty good. I’m actually quite impressed with the low ABV on this one. Seriously sessionable.

Draft at the source, courtesy of Nathan, thanks very much! Oh, and thank you, Bryan, for the sandwich. Hazy to cloudy golden yellow color, small white head, delicate lacing. Nice aro a of dusty attics and barns, maybe the cedar is there, but subtle and in the background, especially compared to, say, the CCB stuff. Taste is lightly spiced and subtley funky straw and hay. Very tasty.
