330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark yellow-ish to orange, golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy as well as wheaty malty aroma with slight muesli character, notes of yellow stone fruit, apricot, mirabelle, peach, a touch of oat flakes. Taste is dry, papery, hoppy, yeasty spicy and yeasty fruity, hints of cardboard and caraway, widely disguised hints of apricot and mirabelle; lingering, almost disgusting, yeasty spicy and papery finish; some alcohol. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Promising nose, initially tolerable taste, hardly drinkable due to the abhorrent finish - drain pour.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierloods22', best before May 2023. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a large, dense, almost stable, beige head. Roasty-malty, rather fruity, a bit resiny aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, tropical fruits and light blueberry. Gently sweet, quite roasty-malty, fairly fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, hazelnut, lots of tropical fruits and a touch of blueberry, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter, minimally resiny finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good one!

Yeasty fruity and slightly wheaty malty aroma, notes of dried banana, light hints of tropical fruit, papaya, mango. Taste is slightly dry, wheaty malty with subtle residual sweetness, yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, hints of dried banana, a touch of orange, mandarine, some black pepper, clove, weak tart-ish undertones. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. Very interesting yeasty fruity flavours, not that banana dominated as usual, refreshing, sadly minimally overcarbonated - good!
