Dark brown colour with thin lacy head. At the base is a solid dark malty stout. Subtle notes of peat, leather and iodine. Some liquorice then more peaty smokey elements in the finish and aftertaste.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 29: gooseberry / 18B - adapted: low alcohol). Bottle 33 cl - Batch not declared (BB end of 2025). AROMA: medium-high beer must aroma with a slight acid character (slight butyric-like). neutral background with slight sweetness. APPEARANCE: pale yellow body and clear but with small particles in suspension. low white head with average retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium beer must. slight acidic notes but neutral. faint cardboard. neutral background with slight sweetness. medium bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish with a yeast-like flavor. MOUTHFEEL: low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: the aroma isnt very pleasant with an overall experience not very much enjoyable.

Mouldy bottle. Gusher. Aroma and flavour have lots of dark caramel. Obviously a quad and the cognac comes through well. Small amount of bitterness. Almost towards treacle.

Brown colour with a reddish hue. Aroma has woody notes and a sweet floral perfume. Flavour too. Grainy sweetness. Touch of honey.

Geprobeerd met LiekevdV, Inoven en Roelzie op het Brabants Speciaalbier Festival te Oirschot. Het is een troebel oranje geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mout en gist. De smaak is vol, moutig, zacht zoet en fruitig.

Glas gedronken met Tomhendriksen en Roelzi tijdens bierfestival in de Oirsprong. Goudgeel troebel bier met matig schuim. Weinig aroma. Smaak is iets hoppig. Nasmaak is zoet en licht bitter.
