Bottle @ home. Dark red-brown color, medium sized beige head that's quite fizzy and diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, some caramel and moderately sweet. Distant herbal / spice notes. Medium body and carbonation. Nothing too fancy perhaps, but imo this is also not the style to do so. It's not the best example of the style, but it certainly is a decent to solid dubbel.

Bottle @ home. Opaque very dark brown to black color, only a slight deep dark red hue visible at the bottom of the glass when held into the light, full sized quite dense beige head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, dark malts, slight hints of chocolate, a slight note of sweetish raisins. Flavor is malts, dark malts, slightly metallic, perhaps even slightly bitter towards the end. Normally I'd expect an Abt/Quadrupel to be a lot sweeter. The fact this one doesn't have that is not necessarily a bad thing, but I struck me as unusual. Or perhaps it should be categorized under Belgian Strong Ale? Anyway, body is quite thin for a 9% ABV beer (label says 9%), which makes it easy to drink (too easy perhaps?), carbonation is pleasantly soft. Hmm has potential I'd say.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Unclear dark yellow-orange color, average sized off-white head that leaves thin lacing. Aroma is malts, light to decently fruity, lightly yeast. Tastes about the same with a bit of sweetness. Decent to medium body, decent carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle shared with Caesar. Almost clear golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste wheat, a bit sweet-bitter and soft finish. Ok, not great but ok.

Bottle @ home. Thanks my friend Antonius W. for bringing this. Hazy orange golden color, full sized white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, lightly herbal, a bit sweet and a bit yeasty. Quite bitter in the finish though. Decent body, firm to high carbonation. Oh well. Drinkable.

Fles @ AH Etten-Leur.
