Donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter en licht zoet met iets van bittere chocolade, ietwat vanille en bosbessen. Eén van de betere bieren van deze brouwer.

Lichtbruin bier zonder schuim wat zeer bijzonder is bij een tripel. Smaak is licht bitterzoet met iets van karamel en chocolade. Iets van bramen en bessen is nog net te bespeuren. Jammer dat het er zo doods uitziet anders was de rating zeker wel wat hoger geweest.

Fles bij de brouwerij. Ietwat rood oranje bier met schuim. Smaak is krachtig, licht zoet en kruidig met iets van dennen, een vleug honing en wat hars. Aparte maar best erg goede tripel.

Tan head with a pinkish sheen; fully opaque dark brown beer. Rum, I rumbonen /I, smelling sweet-vinous. Sweet-ish, very boozy, artificial grapeflavouring; rum obvious. Raw alcoholimpression; blue mould cheese. Very heated-alcohol, viscous, medium carbonation. Not really my taste.

Huge dense cream head with a pinkish sheen, over virtually black beer. Whisky nose, malt, and despite the blurb, it smells smoked. Scapa Distillery? Black chocolate with a sweet-ish whisky flavour. Very balanced, tasting like black pralines with whisky filling. Warming up, something faintly sourish-fruity, as blue grapes appearing. Quite well-bodied, fiery alcoholburn, quite a bit alcoholthinning, Warming, good carbonation. Probably one of the best from the Barrle Project Series.

Difficile de faire pire comme triple...sur un duo alcool (de 8,6 %) aux relents de mauvais Gin et arômes de plastiques, cette bière est simplement mauvaise et fait partie du cercle très, très restreint des bières que je n'ai pas finies. Le visuel est sur un ambré limpide avec une fine effervescence donnant naissance à une mousse blanc cassé nappant la surface. Le nez est sur le vin blanc, le candy, de légères épices, l'alcool et le plastique. L'attaque est désagréable avec des arômes de plastique peu plaisants du candy, de légères épices et un alcool mal intégré. L'alcool prend davantage ses aises en seconde bouche avec une impression de mauvais Gin. L’arrière-bouche est sur un plastique franchement mauvais. Le final est à oublier comme cette triple qui est une honte pour le genre.

Small off-white rim over fully hazy ochre beer. Boozy, vanilla, Bourbon rather than Calvados. Poire William liqueur, bit seafruit, mineral. Meaty esters, booze, faintly fruity. Reasonably complex, especially retronasal... tastes as if jenever infused. Fiery MF, alcoholburning, feels better carbonated than it looks. Boozy, but in an agreable way.

Bottle at THT September. Almost clear light golden with small white head. Sweet malts, boozy, caramel, coffee, boozy bitter herbs, earthy. Over medium sweet and quite bitter. Over medium bodied with fizzy carbonation.
