0.5l bottle found somewhere in Germany by ogivlado who shared it with me (thanks!) Poured a full murky yellow/ochre body with a thick white head that went away slowly. Strong, sweet banana nose, a bit lactic, surprisingly pungent. The taste is more banana, balanced by light acidity helping drinkability a lot. Some spice too, light herbal nose. Remarkably nice!

0.5l bottle that ogivlado got somewhere in Germany and shared with me (thanks!) Poured a yellow-golden body with a small white head, lazy carbonation. Weak malty nose. Dry taste, up front bitterness, some grain, random lemony notes, weak bitter aftertaste. Weak but complex in a way, more a pils than a helles in my book. Not bad, not great.

Bottle. A clear, straw colored drink with a minimal white head on top. The aroma is soapy and citrusy, lacking on the beer part. Slightly citrusy flavor, soapy, and as in the aroma, not much beer to be detected. Fizzy, thin and oily. Probably one of the least interesting radlers I’ve had, doesn’t look good, the aroma and flavor isn’t good either, and there’s almost no trace of beer in it, except for the alcohol maybe. Not even bitterness. 100331

500 ml plastic bottle. Pale golden with almost no head. Aroma of artificial lemon. Taste like sweet soda pop with lemon flavor. Thin and watery body. Pretty boring stuff with no references to beer. Why am I drinking this at all, got to be sick in my mind? Please don’t tell anyone.

Bottle. It pours a dense, off-white two-finger head over a slightly unclear, golden-orange body. Banana and bubble gum on the nose, some yeast too. Cloves missing. The flavor is sweet, with banana and bubble gum, feeling a bit artificial. Some lemon and bitterness as well. Short finish. Medium body, quite dry for the style. For a discount hefeweizen it’s quite nice, but I’d rather drink less and pay more for each bottles. 100213
