(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a moderate Pilsener-blonde foamy head. Discreet aroma: slightly dusty and sweet grainy nose with hay and herbal hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Soft malty taste with strong yeasty notes including a slightly harsh bitterness from the beginning, moderately dry, yeasty and bitter finish with slightly spicy and herbal hops accents. A bit unbalanced but drinkable Zwickel-Pils, produced for the discount-store chain Norma.

Plastic bottle, 4.9%. Weak hop aroma. Standard boring lager flavour, could be worse. Thin mouthfeel.

Das Bier ist am Anfang dermaßen süß, dass kein Biergeschmack durchdringen kann. Dann aber zeigt sich ein typisch trockenes Süßungsmittel-Aroma mit einer ekelhaften Note, ich glaube das soll ein herbes Aroma sein, aber derart chemisch und unappetitlich, das muss sich echt niemand antun. This was a beer that I had to try because it was in a plastic bottle in Germany! It was a golden amber color with foamy head. Smelt pretty skunky and grassy. Very mellow hoppy malt taste that seemed very weak.

A light yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sour, while the flavor is a combination of sweet and sour. I wonder if it is the hops giving it the souness?
