Trockener, leicht säuerlicher Beginn. Angenehme, wenn auch nicht sonderlich starke Malzigkeit. Mild bleibend, trocken malzig, seichte Röstnoten. Ziemlich unspektakulär. 9/9/11/8/9/8

(bottle) Clear and pale orange to amber colour with a foamy white medium head. Sweet and bready toast-malty aroma with caramel and alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium body and carbonation. Sweet bready and worty taste with a tinge of caramel and a malty finish with traces of hoppy bitterness. One-dimensional (heller) Doppelbock, but quite drinkable. Thanks to pivnizub for the sample.

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, fluffy off-white head, slowly vanishing; fruit (honey) and caramel in the nose, distinctive traces of alcohol too; sweet caramelly flavour; short sweet fruity and alcoholic finish. Boring, should be better filed under "European Strong Lager", lacks a distinctive hoppiness............................

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, very pretty brown colour - only a discreet head. Lovely, roasted malty notes with some sweetness and a vague smoky touch. Very, very delicious. 010203

(bottle) Clear brown colour with a fluffy tanned medium head. Toastmalty, slightly caramelly nose with a skunky hoppy tone. The light sweet malty taste with roasted notes is carried into the dry and bittersweet crispy finish with a light blend of hops. Quite boring Dunkel from Westphalia.

(bottle) Cloudy strawy colour with a fluffy white head. Dusty wheat malty nose with yeasts and citrus. Pretty bland standard Weizen. Fruity and malty taste, not much spice, slightly tart finish.

(bottle) Golden colour with a medium sized foamy and quite stable white head. Grainy malty nose with grassy hops in the background and a touch of cardboard as well. Slight bitter flavour, light bodied. Initial malty taste with a short bitter finish. A bland Pils.

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Corny malt aroma. Light sweet malty flavour, thin but somewhat crispy mouthfeel. Initially malty, slightly bitter and short finish. Bland & boring.
