(Bottle, 0.33 l - bbe 10/13, courtesy of rosenbergh, thanks Jan, 20130406) The beer poured brown and cloudy. Its head was small and almost white. Aroma had malts, toothpaste, sweetness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were berries, malts, sweetness, mild sourness and some bitterness. Aftertaste was weird and bitter. Something was really wrong with this beer.

Location: 33 cl bottle from an El Corte Ingles, 4/4/13

Aroma: The nose has some straw, pale malts, herbal hop notes, and a little bit of fruit
Appearance: Pours a mostly clear golden color with a large, almost gushing, head and heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is more fruity than the nose, with malts/straw, and an almost skunky finish
Palate: The body of this one is fairly light, it has a tingly carbonation and an okay feel
Overall Impression: This one isn't really a winner. The nose is okay, but the flavor (particularly the finish) feels off. This beer could use some improvement.

Location: 12 oz bottle from an El Corte Ingles, 3/31/13, Rating #2900 AND IPA Rating #300

Aroma: The nose is on the light side, fairly subtle, with some citrus, grass, and floral hop notes
Appearance: Pour a hazy golden color with a thick froth of gushing white head and lace
Flavor: The taste is like the nose, clean hops, with some light sweetness and a medium bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has average-plus carbonation, and slightly astringent/dry finish
Overall Impression: Feels more like a British-style IPA, with a nice, but subtle hop presence. I thought it was a solid example of that style, and thus far the best Spanish beer I have tried (granted, that isn't a huge compliment).

At a tasting, thanks teddybeer, big bubbley head, very hazy dep orange colour, aroma of jam, grain, hay and a hint of bee wax, flavour of orange marmalade and grain, medium bitterness but not enough to combat the sweetness. Not really an imperial IPA.
