Hazy blond color; poor head. Simple aroma, quite watery flavor, with traces of something that seems wheat. Useless.

(33cl swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, dark amber colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet dark and toasted malty aroma with caramel and shades of smoke far in the background. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Solid toasty malty base with caramel and cookies; sweet malty and moderately toasty finish with a low level of bitterness. All in all a decent unfiltered Dunkel (06.VIII.09).

(33cl swing top bottle, on top of the Flüelapass) Hazy, orangey colour with a steady medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly dusty and medicinal malty, subtle fruity nose with present herbal and slightly flowery hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malty and yeasty-medicinal taste with hints of citrus and shy to moderate herbal hops; medium-dry yeasty spicy and again medicinal finish. Not really convincing (04.VIII.09).

Bottle (Danke nach Kreuzlingen!): Hazy, amber coloured, lots of floaties visible, medium-sized - sloly collapsing - off-white fluffy head; sweetish-caramelly nose with a light, but distinctive hoppy background;; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweet-malty finish with a subtle fruitiness and a light bitter aftertaste. A tasty brew, no doubt.........
