Recht wässriger Antrunk, in dem sanfte Getreidenoten noch das intensivste Aroma bilden. Wenig helles Malz kommt hinzu bevor das Bier in die Wässrigkeit abdriftet, die vorhandenen Aromen werden hier weitestgehend abgeschüttelt, es besteht nur noch eine simple Herbe. Diese steht bis zum Ende alleine im Raum, wodurch das Bier monoton und ziemlich einfallslos wirkt. 5/6/7/5/8/5

Mäßig malziger Antrunk mit deutlicher Wässrigkeit. Etwas würzig-karamellig werdend, daruch wirkt das Bier sogar noch frischer als zuvor. Die Intensität bleibt aber gering, das Bier kann sich nicht steigern. Zum Ende fast schon langweilig monoton, das Malz wird noch etwas karamelliger, süßer. Süffiger Bock mit feinen Beinoten, insgesamt mäßig überzeugend. 8/8/9/8/12/8

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a frothy medium-sized white head. Sweet and slightly dusty and grainy malty aroma with a notes of cooked carrots. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Slim and slightly grainy malty base with present herbal hops and subtle fruity notes towards the slim and short hop bitter finish with a slightly papery grainy aftertaste. Profane Kölsch/Kölner Wiess-like beer. 03.VIII.10

Draught @ Festival der Bierkulturen, Bürgerzentrum Ehrenfeld, Venloer Str. 429, Cologne, Germany.Clear light medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, toasted - caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, nutty peel bitter. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100515]

33 cL bottle, courtesy of Bov. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is crisp hoppy and slight grassy. Light estery and yeasty flavoured. Mild toasted malt base. Lingering malty and yeasty finish.

(33cl swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, copper colour with a thick and slightly beige foamy head. Sweet and toasted malty aroma with caramel, herbal spicy and subtle floral notes. Sweet flavour, medium body with a soft carbonation. Moderately toasted malty and slightly nutty taste with caramel, residual sugars and spicy notes of fir tree needles; sweet and slightly toasted malt-accented and moderately spicy finish. Quite rounded spiced and strong Lager (06.VIII.09).
