Draft at the Hoan Kiem brewery taproom. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty, light caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet and liquorice bitter, with a smooth, caramel, light earthy, nutty, light liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at the Hoan Kiem brewery taproom. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is herbal. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, somewhat watery, crisp, cardboard yeast, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Now the owner is telling me that he brewed this beer, which I somewhat doubt. It looks and tastes like a macro lager and is most probably just regular Halida! This rating might possibly be deleted in future!
