Swingtop: Pours clear copper with a small soapy head. Toasted malt and tea aroma. Toasty bread, light caramel malt, leaves. A hint of spice. A little plain, but nice.

Generic malty helles lager, very bready aroma and taste. So-so appearance with malt finish. Average.

Swing-top: Clear, dirty gold with a short, soapy head... Old grain malt aroma. Sweet grain malt, bready flavor. Slightly stale, a bit off.... Disappointing.

500ml bottle. Unfiltered, thick amber-burgundy. Steady thin beige head. Very earthy and mellow. Very light on the palate, some doughy chocolate over a cloudy wheat body. Some light pungent tones, sort of a Dunkel, eastern European feel at times. Very easy drinker. Has a cask feel to it. Would love to have this beers in Moosbach.

Split bottle. Poured a caramel color with a beige head. Aroma was sweet dark malts, nut notes, caramel character. Flavor was sweet roasted chocolate notes, caramel, nuts. Pretty refreshing, enjoyed.

Clear yellow-gold with a tall, off-white head. Aroma is hay, lemon, malt. Taste is slightly bready, light fruit sweetness, trace of hop bitter. Fairly creamy...light. Pretty good, but simple.

Cloudy wood brown with a soft, off-white head. Caramel, dark sour fruit aroma. Taste is a tangy/sweet dull caramel. Grows more sour and leafy bitter as it goes. Not enjoyable.

500ml flip top bottle. Hazy orange-tan body, thin white head. Butterscotch tinged aroma. Tastes a little old, faded. Sort of has a nice, cleanish body..but the flavors aren’t that great...funky fruity buttery tones that make it seem off...or maybe just cheap malt? Either way, not one I’d revisit unless I was in Germany.

500ml fliptop poured into a shaker. Pours a dark caramel with a half finger of white head. Aroma of caramel and floral hops. A little bready. Taste is light bitter. Bready with caramel and toffee. A little floral hops on the end. Medium bodied with a sonewhat thin texture. Soft carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Not my favorite style, but drinkable.
