Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, not a big head. Aroma is sweet malts, some mild toffee and sweetness. Flavour is toffee (diacetyl) and some mild wooden and malty notes as well. Tastes like a "light" bock.

Dark amber with red highlights that throws up a tall, long lasting white head. Light malt aroma. Lot of bready, bisuity, yeasty notes. Lightly sweet malt flavor profile with just a balance of hops.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 05/2012
Aroma is rather light and a bit stale with flour, some banana esthers . Flavour is also light with some banana and coriander. Palate is too high on CO2 like other Moosbachers. Too light once again.

50 cl bottle @ home as ”Moosbacher Schwartze Weisse”, BBE 03 or 04 / 2012
Aroma is a bit stale and rather light with ripe banana and flour. Light flavour has some solvent and banana with hints of spices. Thin palate. Not a good one.

The swing-top cap opened with a loud pop and beer started to come out of the bottle spontaneously. A bit stale and light aroma has slightly sweet and grainy malt. Palate is high on CO2. Rather light aroma is ashy with some sweetish malt. A bit weird, the CO2 ruins the show here by giving vichy-like feeling.

Aroma is rather weird and stale with nettles and gooseberry bush. Flavour is weird, stale and somewhat acidic. It has lots of metal, some nettles and hints of nuts and mint. Rather weird stuff, feels more like a dunkel or vienna that is too low on roastiness.

Bügelverschlußflasche (as Schwarze Weiße): Cloudy, murky-brown coloured, quickly collapsing loose off-white head, light to moderate caramelly-fruity nose, wheat and a slight acidity detectable; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, pretty light bodied; caramelly and wheaty finish with a slight tartness in the aftertaste. Unspectacular.....
