Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Near black, small head. Fruity licorice aroma. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Salty and earthy, mildly roasty. Unassuming and laid back.

Can 330ml.[ Courtesy of faroeviking ]. Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, malty, spicy notes. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20110526]

Can. Amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some spices, mild herbal and hoppy notes as well,. Flavour is strongly sweetish malty with some slight spices and wooden notes.

From tap at CBF 2011. Dark brown colour with tan head. Aroma of liqouirice, fruits and roasted. Medium body, medium sweetness, with some smoke. Bitter finish with roasted notes. A nice try from the North Atlantic islands, but I like a fuller body in my porters.
