(bottle, from bierkoning) Murky and hazy brown colour with big yeast floaties and a medium-sized foamy beige head. Sour and fruity (citrus, orange peel) aroma, yeasty with a tinge of caramel. Quite thin-bodied fizzy mouthfeel. Slightly roasted malty (and wheaty) taste with caramel and a distinctive bitter & light-sour fruitiness. Yeasty and fruity malty finish, which is rather slim with a light bitter and hoppy note. According to the relatively high ABV quite slim, but not really unpleasant but interesting Dutch (Tarwe-)Bock.

(bottle) Cloudy ruby red-brown colour with a small off-white creamy layer. Vinous fruity and malty aroma. Slightly sweet malty and fruity (cherries, raspberries), slightly sour taste. Medium bodied, creamy textured, dry, spicy and yeasty slightly tart finish. Uncommon but tasty Dubbel.

(Bottle 30 cl) Gee, here we go again: another Dutch Bock that is more sour than sweet - odd for a Bock. Cloudy dark brown with a thick, brownish head. Loads of lovely roasted malt with a dry, light bitter finish. Delicious. 021204

(Bottle 30 cl) Fully golden, almost orange and very hazy. Nice head that leaves a pretty lacework. Has the typical witbier spices - coriander and orange peel - but lacks a lot in character and sophistication in comparison with the best Belgians. But a nice quencher. 060804

(Bottle 30 cl) Very dark brown coming close to black. Lots of impurities and a tall, light brown head. Has some sourish notes bordering what you find in a Flemish sour. Notes of burned malt. Solid if a bit unusual. 220204

(Bottle 30 cl) As opposed to a traditional Dutch Bock, this summer-Bock is not dark, malty and sweet. This is orangey golden with lots of floating impurities and a rather small head. Dry and hoppy with some fullness. Fruity - or perhaps rather flowery - with a touch of honey, without being excessively sweet. 160204

(Bottle 30 cl) 8% ABV in my version. Orangey golden, cloudy beer with an incredibly tall and lasting head. Dry, spicy and full-bodied beer - coming close to an Abbey Tripel in style. Sweetish but balanced by some biting hops. Very, very fruity, fresh and full of character. 140204

Thanks to Noize for this one. Although it was not too good. Clear amber color, short off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some hop and grain. Sweet caramel malty taste, but with a strange bitter note to it.
