4th Nov 2015: 330ml bottle at home. Poured a clear golden colour with a neat white head. Malty aroma with some caramel hints and a fruity bent. Not too sure a mix/blend/brew of Lager and Alt go together too well, they don’t in this beer anyway. More malty Lager than an Alt in my book. I struggled to enjoy this. Obtained from a B&M store in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Fra fat på Bishops Arms, Umeå 11 Jul 15. Kullsort med et lite rødskjær. Så vidt litt skum langs glasset. Beskjeden søt fruktaroma. Smaken lett røstet. Syrlig og litt fruktig etterhvert med hint av karamell.

Fra fat på Bishops Arms Umeå 16 Jun 15. Mørk gyldenbrun. Lavt tett skum med teppelacing. Aroma av søt frukt & vanilje. Smaken det samme. For lite frukt. For mye vanilje. For søt.

Flaske 330ml på Hotel Smedjan, Pajala 13 Jun 15. Veldig lys gylden. Middels høyt kritthvitt skum. Teppelacing. Aroma av bær. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken har et visst maltpreg. Gjennomgående tørr.

From bottle. Clear golden orange color with off white head. Malty aroma, grainy, light floral hoppy and fruity. Sweet and light bitter taste. Light thin to oily body with soft carbonation.

50cl bottle from Systembolaget, Sälen. Pours clear golden with a white head. Moderate malty aroma with caramel, hints of fruits, cooked vegetables and hay. For some reason it’s written "Craft beer" on the bottle cap, but seems to be quite far from it. Quite close to the usual industrial pale lager and hardly anything to write home about. Sweet, mild malty and not much bitterness to speak of. Would rather have the altbier and the lager separate than in this mixture. Drinkable.

A light brown beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has sweet maltyness, bread, some overriped fruits. Taste has bready malts, lots of sweetness of berries, but not too much, raspberries, low bitterness. Medium bodied, quite smooth. Unique mix of raspberries and bread. Interesting and quite tasteful.
