(swing top bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a dense light-brown medium-sized foamy head. Slightly cheesy malty and roasty nose with notes of cacao and sweaty hops. Slightly roasty bitter flavour with a moderate malty sweetness, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly roasty malty taste with ashy notes, cacao and shy herbal accents; moderately dry and slightly roasty bitter finish with metallic notes which disappear after a few sips. 01.IV.10

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. It’s a clear, almost golden beer under a small, off-white head. Grainy, sweetish and fruity nose. A bit vegetal flavor, with grains, fruits and sweetness. Not much sweetness though, the overall impression is still dry. Medium body-fullness. Decent bitterness in the finish. A drinkable beer indeed, but nothing extraordinary at all. 091024

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. A hazy, golden beer with a small off-white head. Actually looking pretty cute. Sourish, bretty nose with some banana and a faint fruity touch. Sweet, slightly fruity flavor with barnyardish, leathery brett flavors, leading to a brett finish. Medium body, effervescent and dry. I really doubt the brett infection was meant to happen, but it sure gives the beer a nice flavor and makes it refreshing. Can’t bring myself to lift the score to the three-point-something it deserves, as I don’t think the flavor was neither intentional nor appropriate. 091024
