Did I add this brew a long time ago? Maybe. Toffee colored brew. Nose is earthy, plum, caramel. Tastes of plum, green apple, toffee, umami through and through. Peppery finish. Brandy like and mushrooms for sure as it warms. Cold versus warmer is very different experience and both are good. Not a beginners sake.

720 ml bottle. White label, same rice, 60% polish on this one. Not sure if it is exactly the same or not, since this was a Japanese bottle. Anyhow, ripe pears, rice, cream in the nose. Icy and shiny. Dry yet creamy flavor of rice, vanilla, stone fruit. Decent enough but not so special. Strange to see it at #2 in the top 50. I guess that’s because it is exported in reasonably good condition.

Taste from 720 ml bottle. Yellow tinted and oily. Nose of rich rice, esters, peach, melon, sweet orange. Sweet and fruity, with peaches, melon, mango. Extreme fruit flavours. Smooth and light. Just a bit too sweet, but very good.
