300 ml bottle. Milky white, oily on top. Sweet fruity nose, yogurt, peaches, pear. Nice. Very fruity, sweet flavor, thick and yeasty, milk, a bit pasty. Great flavors, though a bit too thick and pasty for me, it is a decent nigori.

Bottle at home drank half tonight while watching fairly bad Travolta revenge thriller. My bottle just said Hanagaki Junmai but my best guess is this is same. Deeper gold pour. Nose is rice and grains fairly muted. Robust thick palate. Tastes of rice, spicy black pepper, almond and walnut, and earthy. Would pair with a thick steak not a delicate sake. Touch gritty but still enjoyable.

Bottle from Kyoto Isetan. Slightly yellowish brown color, oily. Nose of rice, koji, pepper. Simple and straightforward. Sweet flavor, rice, fruits, caramel, mizuame, vanilla; very peppery, spicy finish with tingly alcohol on the tongue. Pretty tasty stuff. Full, creamy smooth body.

One cup at home ... light yellow hint ... soft earthy pineapple nose ... melow ... soft earthy rise ... soft easy ... nice simple sake... nothing complex but perfectly pleasent

Bottle at home ... clear as always ... light soft vanilla rice nice ... big alcohol hit first ... almost ice cream ... soft mellow ... again alcohol stays present and again vanilla shows through ... at first i wasnt sure but its growing on me ...
