Paper carton from the convenient store. Faint nose, rice, bit of citrus. Clear. Mild flavor, not off, a bit spicy, rice, melon, lemon. Boring but not off.

300 ml bottle. Rounded, fruity aroma: Asian pears, apricot, melon, lemon. Rich creamy rice. Viscous and clear. Sweet, fruity, spicy. Peppery spiciness, citrus, pears, stone fruit. Rich rice. Quite full bodied. Flavorful and aromatic. Good jundai, and great value too.

Taster. Lots of yuzu, plus ume plums, moderate sweetness, nicely tart. Light and tasty, but there isn’t much sake flavor.

Taster. Junmai shu infused with ume and then aged in sherry barrels. Flavors of ume, sherry, wood. Creamy, tart, and rounded. Sweet with tart and barrel flavors to balance. Fun as hell.

Nice nose--full, rich caramel and peaches. Full flavor and body with rice, honey, peach and melon. The caramel touch is nice. Great body. Lovely.

Medium aroma of ginjoka, though rather restrained. Clean, fruity flavors with wood. Nice, light, and very drinkable.

Wood and sherry aroma, big oak. Pale gold color. Tastes of oak, sherry, some butter-cream. Very interesting and cool. Aged flavor like a fine sherry. Wow. Crazy stuff.

Big yuzu and lemon nose--lovely, though with no sake there. Sweet and sour flavor, with a sharp, huge, soru edge. A great fruit sake with huge real fruit flavors. Not much sake taste, for sure, but tastes great.
