Glass at Jam. Huge, ripe yuzu nose with a bit of koji and rice. All yuzu flavor, nicely tart, quite sweet, almost no sake taste, but delicious.

300ml bottle from Isetan. Fruity nose: orange, ripe pears, peaches. A bit of toasted rice. shiny, oily, clear. flavors of rice, stone fruits, mellow vanilla, a bit of minerals. Fully, oily, silky body. solid stuff.

Bottle, 72cl. It’s a clear, very pale yellow sake, light oily pour. Very fruity nose, with too much wet cardboard and rice water. It’s oily and warming on the palate, full-bodied. Flavors of rice water and green apples. Lasting finish with apples and rice water, as well as some cardboard. Not too impressed with this one, and it’s too warming as well. 131122

Sampled @ RB Danish Summer Gathering 2013 day 1, Ulfborg. Bottle. Very pale yellow color,mmaybe it’s just clear water with a slight yellow hue. No head off course. Aroma has alcohol and fruity. Taste alcohol, bitter and I think anise or coconut but I’m not sure. Hmm decent.

Taster at Jam. Dry, slightly funky nose, light fruit, rice. Nicely acidic flavor, rice, alcohol, and some funky pears. Not huge kimono aspect, but it does dome thorough nicely. Refreshing.
