Draught at BeerGek Bar 9th anniversary. Cloudy, dark red to black colored. AROMA- nice hazelnut, almonds, chocolate, vanilla. FLAVOR- silky, lightly sweet, lightly bitter, lactose, dark chocolate, nougat, nuts, vanilla. Fuller bodied. Great.

Sampled from the tap at Brew Wild. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of earthy grass and light pine with some bread backing. Flavor has slight bitter pine and earthy grass with a hint of citrus rind and bread backing.

Can from Beergeek Karlín, shared with friends in Zhůř. Golden body, white head. Tropical, tart, citric, but fresh aroma. Soft taste, bit onion, some sweet citrus, some white grapes, apricots, grainy notes... bit messy but okay.

33 cl can at Lambic, Alcalá de Henares, stated at 12,6%. Oh boy, is this a pitch black brew. Oh yeah it is. Brownish head, not lasting long. Aroma is the usual suspects: coffee here, tobacco there, vanilla elsewhere. And then some chicory, some carob bean, some chocolate. Oh boy, has this a good mouthfeel. Oh yes it does. Silky, velvety onset, oh boy, and then a full body, smooth carbo, slick palate, very umami... and on it goes. Good stout, good one. Very long lasting, some more coffee, now comes the sweet pumpkin. Round all-great ale, boy- oh boy. I'm pretty sure this will age magnificently and become even more interesting after a decade or more.
