720 ml bottle from Yamaya. Shiboritqte version. Clear, oily, yellow tint. Dry rice nose, peach and melon, apple, pear. Very fruity but in a dry way. Dry, icy fruit flavor, bit alcoholic, touch watery. Very mch the Niigata style, though the nama genshu part helps it along. Crisp and drinkable.

180 ml \"cup\" from Ponshukan. Nose of rice pudding, vanilla, some caramel. Big, fruity flavor; rice, peaches, a but of mango and pineapple, orange. Spicy, with light vanilla and coconut. A bit sweet, creamy. Not super original, but very solid junmai.

Glass at Ponshukan. Nose is dry fruit and saw dust. Very soft palate, flavors of melon, peach, pineapple. Spicy as well. A bit too sweet, begins to cloy after a bit. Nice.
