Bottle from Yamamoto. Icy and clear. Nose or over-ripe fruit, peaches, melon, mango. Spicy koji. A bit stinky but interesting. Rich rice. Full and heavy flavor and body, sweet, even though it calls itself dry. Tropical fruits, koji, rice, some caramel and rice pudding, and booze. Spicy finish. A bit too sweet overall. Almost cloying.

Taster at Asahi. Very milky, ricey nose. Very cloudy and milky. Sweet and milky, thick, hot alcohol. Vanilla and cream. One of the heavier, more full-on nigori that I don’t really dig. And not all that interesting either.
