0.44 l can from 'Craftbeershop.com', canned in March 2023. Hazy, deeo reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral aroma of honey, apricot and sultanas. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of honey, dried apricot, sultanas, light caramel and hints of grains, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little dry finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Maibock, very well-balanced, not too sweet.

10/7/9/8/11/8

440ml can. Opalescent, redd-ish, amber colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Sweet-ish, minimally starchy, pale malty, slightly caramel malty and slightly fruity, minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of grapes, a touch of red berries. Taste is mildly bitter, minimally fruity and grassy hoppy, sweet-ish, mellow malty basis, hints of grapes, red berries, a touch of plum, some caramel. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, not too sweet, deep integration of malty and fruity aspects, very homogeneous and without any sign of Lager sluggishness, facile like an Ale - very nice.

On tap at Bar Oorlam, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is intense, with lots of rum barrels upfront, followed by big tonka beans and a touch of cinnamon. Flavour is almost tart, with notes of rum, aquavit-like spirit, a touch of tonka and cinnamon. Too tart and not particular bold or complex. I'm not a huge fan of this one.

On tap at Bar Oorlam, pours a clear bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out a nice herbaceous character upfront, crunchy toasted nuts, and biscuity malt. Flavour is strong for the style, with herbaceous notes, crunchy vegetables (in a good way), toasted nuts, and bready malt. Assertive for the style, with lots of bready malt and toasted nuts. Really well-done. Haven't had a maibock this good in a while. Excellent.

On tap at Bar Oorlam, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy hops, straw and biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp and grassy, with grassy hops, light booze and crisp biscuity malt. Strong, grassy, and bright—slightly stronger than a standard pils. Good stuff.

On tap at Bar Oorlam, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is very funky, with lots of wild bugs, some oak, and some gentle herbaceous notes. Flavour is gently tart and quite buggy; the helles character is buried beneath, so this is mostly a function of the funk and oak. Unusual but quite solid.
