[as Kameman Hiho/Hisui (Jade) Red Rice Sake (緋穂)] Drunk cold. The color is deep amber tending to reddish. The olfactory intensity is high and lasts appreciably. The nose recognizes kiwi, mimosa, red wine, earthy and mineral flavor and vanilla. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of medium strength’s sake. The aroma on the tongue is slightly dry. The body is full. The flavor intensity is high, and the flavor persistence is good. On the palate the aftertaste is of medium intensity. The final mouthfeel sensations are easy to drink. The finish is clean and complex. The taste is given tones of peach, apricot, popcorn, resin, black pepper and red wine.

300ml Bottle from Ueno-Gourmet. Red-muddy in the glass. The sake starts smooth with pears and melon in the back. The red rice flavour is earthy, red. Probably like autumn-leaves smell, very interesting and hard to describe. A bit muddy, refreshing though, hints of sourness. Very soft and smooth aftertaste, round, refreshing, earthy red-fruity. Hints of cherries or plums, nice with a long lasting flavour in the tongue.
Fascinating refreshing deep and flavourful.
