Bottle. There’s some micro-floaties when poured, a slightly hazy, copper color and a small beige head sitting on top. Fruity nose with a sourish touch and malts in the background. Malty flavor with caramel, fruity hops, some alcohol and a hint of anise. Medium to full body, dry, yet sweetish on the palate, with a decent carbonation. Sweet, pleasantly bitter finish. A quite nice beer, nothing extraordinary, just nice. (090522)

Bottled at PBF. Nearly black, minimal head. Aroma of slivovic, licorice and tobacco. Sweet and fruity, heavily alcoholic with brandy and salty licorice. Not at all as thick and inky as many 14% stouts. Instead if massive roastiness and syrup there’s just slick malt and brandy-like alcohol.

Bottled. Rubyish black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is caramel, sugary sweetness as well as liquorice and alcohol. Flavour is quite much the same, but the alcohol is actually fitting in the flavour quite well. Drinkable and quite pleasant.
