Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, grain, toasted, sour malt, light to moderate yeasty, sour yeast, smoke notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and bitter with a average duration. Black with a small off-white head. Aroma has molasses and licorice with some alcohol. Sweet and licorice dominated flavour with some hot alcohol, and a touch of sugary sweetness. Mouthfeel is disappointingly thin for such a strong beer.

Bottled at Horsens Beerfestival (brewed by Thisted). Black body with a fine brown head. Aroma is roasted, dark malt, liquorices and coffee with soma alcohol. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, some liquorices and rather bitter with a bittersweet warming alcoholic finish. Very nice, but a bit one dimensional.
